You may as well know that I’ve been currently preoccupied with correcting and perfecting my fashion sketches and designs. It’s been the only real thing that’s kept me interested in fashion lately because Fashion Week isn’t going to be in session until February - or January 26th if the Paris Couture shows are your cup of tea ;)
I then was browsing the latest fashion-related musings and such on WWD, and I found two extremely interesting posts - one containing a slideshow of designs that well-known designers have done to show what they think Michelle Obama should wear for the inauguration of this nation’s next President of the United States, and another post containing a slideshow of designs that designers think would be fitting if Obama wore to his inauguration.
These just captivated me to no end because 1) You get a glimpse into the minds of how designers think through their work, 2) You get to see some fashion in the making, and 3) You can get a LOT of inspiration for your own sketches - consequently, I got ideas on how to improve upon my own.

I think that the white dresses are spectacular because they just scream ‘CLASSICAL’ and ‘NANCY REAGAN!’ So traditional, yet so modern…
