My name is Christian van de Werken and I reside in Colorado.
For starters, I play violin, and I have for quite some time; approximately nine years! I love orchestral and solo violin, and I wouldn’t be able to live without Bach, Sibelius, Wieniawski, Mozart and Prokofiev… that’s right, I play contemporary (in essence) and classical violin (including stuff from the Baroque period).
I’m a very active person, and lead a really busy lifestyle. I always have much of my week booked, but I always find time to go shopping… it’s my passion. I love fashion, obviously ;) I’m a big fan of Hermès (who isn’t?… it’s so classic), Chanel (<3 Lagerfeld!), Rodarte, Marc Jacobs, Anna Sui, Burberry, and Balenciaga. I’m also known for my love of a few of the more well known brands as well, including: Prada, Yves Saint Laurent and Lanvin.
As many people know, I like, enjoy, LOVE music. I can’t part without my iPhone! I listen to: Family Force 5, Britney Spears, The Gorillaz, Lily Allen, The Gotan Project, Kate Nash, The Sohodolls, The Black Eyed Peas, Prince, Michael Jackson, Daft Punk, Franz Ferdinand - also a great leader… ;), Muse, Natalie Portman’s Shaved Head, Infected Mushroom, The Killers, Madonna, Maroon 5, Nelly Furtado, Rihanna, Nirvana, Does it Offend You Yea?, No Doubt, Nine Inch Nails, U2, Shiny Toy Guns and M.I.A! I change my favorite band weekly, so just don’t ask.
I love gray skies and really rainy days! They just make you want to bundle up and be warm… or… they make you want to GO SHOPPING! I also like long walks on the beach… blah, blah, blah…
I’m addicted to coffee, labels, shopping, Madonna and Twitter!
